Clarity about who you actually are versus who you’ve learned to be.
Most of the choices that shape a life feel more like common sense, or necessity, or just what ‘someone like me’ does. Over time, this path can start to generate enough friction that people question the choices they are making in the present. The richer question is what led you to today. What is the inner architecture—the patterns, preferences, relationships and vulnerabilities—that you built your life around? I work with people who are ready to look at that question directly, using BaZi—a traditional Chinese framework for understanding personality and timing. This method can reveal that architecture so you can meet your life with clarity, responsibility, and dignity.
This work comes from a specific place. I am an ordained Buddhist priest, and my practice — in every form it takes — is oriented toward one thing: helping people move from confusion about who they are toward acceptance. BaZi is the most precise tool I've found for that work. The aspiration behind every engagement is that you leave with a clearer, more honest account of yourself than you arrived with.
“For the last few years, I have turned to Joe to consult on the timing of major life changes and for insight into questions of personal and professional development. His advice has consistently given me invaluable, actionable information and his questions have helped guide my personal inquiry and exploration.”
